  The thing is, I'm not a person to my brother. Basically, if life were a video game, then, in his worldview, he'd be a player and I'd be one of those non-player characters that he'd mow down with his car and feel good about having done afterwards. I'm basically sentient furniture to him. So, from his point of view, it's okay to be completely inhumane to me; it's okay to abuse me, like I'm subhuman or something. That sucks in and of itself, but that he is completely lacking in any self awareness...

  I have a theory that my depression and acne feed on each other. Depression lowers my immune system's response and as a result--more acne. More acne equals more misery. Misery makes the depression worse and so on and so on. It's an ugly vicious circle.

  Hi, hello. Does anyone have any advice for becoming higher funtioning? I mean, I have trouble doing even little things like washing my face and exercising. I have a really bad living situation and I really need to get away from it, so any help would be incredible. Thanks!
