  I have noticed recently that when I feel an attack coming that I pat myself like you would a baby. Soft and steady. I remember doing this after surgery cause I would feel anxious going to sleep because of the anesthesia. Does anyone else do this? I had to tonight feeling apprehensive and stuck. I coupled it with deep breathing as well.Also, do any of you tense your bodies up and not notice until it starts to get uncomfortable?

  I had a pretty good day today. I cleaned my little apartment and was spending time working out a little and practicing walking. Then all of a sudden I was just wrapped in cold sweats and tears. I got stuck on a thought and before I could banish it, it got me. Now, I feel somewhat nauseated and just ready to sleep. I just don't know how to fight back sometimes. I try the deep breathing and a little mantra but when it is bad this doesn't help.
