  There is a man sitting in the recliner in the family room in my house. He looks like my dad. He sounds like my dad. But he is most definitely not my dad.I want to say it started about 5 years ago. My grandmother passed away and my dad didn't talk about it. He didn't cry. He acted like nothing had happened.A year later, my grandfather passed away. Again, Dad didn't cry. He didn't talk about it.   Hi y'all. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS--Actually, I can't really say that I was diagnosed, because my endocrinologist told me, "You probably have PCOS. Or it could be hyperandrogenism. Either way, I've got you on the treatment for both." She has me on Spironolactone. Anyone else on this medication? Are there side effects I should be aware of?Anyway -- to my real reason for posting. Besides being frustrated with the male pattern hair growth, I've gain A LOT of weight. Does anyone have any...

  For my first post, I'm not going to say too much--Just that joining a support group is new for me. I don't know how this is going to help, but we'll see. I'm tired of being sad all the time about being fat, and I need to be healthier. I've seen what being overweight can do first hand with my mother, and I don't want to go down that path.Baby steps.

  Hey y'all. Not sure if anyone will even read this, but here goes nothing... So, I'm new to the whole support group thing.
