  Coming up to my 6 months post diagnosis. I see my specialist in May. It’s been a long winter recovering. Particularly hard because I was also recovering from blood loss. Anemia was a brutal complication that at times had me not knowing if it was my PE or anemia that made it hard to over extend myself and breathe.Routine blood tests have kept my INR in check.   Prescribed progesterone to help treat premenopausal symptoms while on blood thinners after hemorrhage. Label says to take one 10mg tablet 1-10 days of calendar month. I was told by Dr to start taking it at beginning of month for 10 days.   I’ve finally seen the specialist for the first time since my PE at the beginning of October this year.i started on xarelto. Hemorrhaged while taking it from uterus when menstruating. I needed a blood transfusion and experienced a diabetic acid ketoacidosis while in the ICU. There was much stress on my heart with potassium and magnesium imbalances.
