  i am so lost right now and not functioning well. I posted last week about some marriage struggles and it has been a very difficult two weeks with my husband. We are no longer sleeping in the same bed. I have tried to communicate with him and he shuts me down every time telling me he doesn't want to talk and then making snide gestures to indicate that what ever I have said is unimportant. At this point I feel as though he is making every attempt to just be cruel to me.   I am curious if anyone is aware of any research or information...I seem to observe that many couples experience difficulty/separation/divorce somewhere in the 8-10 year range of their marriage a lot of time. I'm just wondering if there is some solid information out there on this. This is the case for me and I personally know many couples that seem to experience this same time dynamic. Just curious is all...

  Inhabe been a Dave Matthews fan for almost as long as the band has been together.... Been listening to his music most of the day and songs and lyrics that I've heard tens upon thousands of times have different and have  had different meaning for me depending on what my life situation has been. It truly is amazing how music can transcend time and place.

  Well we spoke yesterday. It was his birthday and it was strained yesterday morning and less strained last night before he left. I have him his birthday present that I had gotten him before all of this started.  He was appreciative and hugged me. He left to go to something he wanted to do last night. I stayed home.   I absolutely lost it with my husband last night and to a point of insanity. Since I shared some difficult information with him a week ago about a difficult earlier life experience I posted about yesterday, this entire week has been horrific. His reactions and responses to me at times when I can even get one have been wretched. have been a basket case. I am up and down emotionally. Aching crying, unable to concentrate at work, unable to even know how to talk to him or if I even should... unsure...
