  Hi Guys,I started on the rabies series of shots last night, due to a bite I received in our front yard, that the doctors said looked like a classic bat bite. Everything I read about them, mentions immunosuppressed individuals and steroid usage, as possibly making the serum ineffective. I'm wondering whether I should cut back on the HC a bit. I'm going to talk to my endo., but he's not on call, and I must wait until Tuesday. Anyone know anything about this? I assume it's similar to the flu shot...

  Hi,I'm a very late riser in the morning, I always have been. I do not sleep well for various reasons (reflux, respiratory, etc.) and I absolutely need the morning sleep. When I started on HC, the doctor didn't warn me not to go back to sleep after I took them, and so I would awaken early, take them, and they made me nice and drowsy, so I'd fall back to sleep.   Hi Guys,I haven't posted in a long time, since I've had a lot of things to take care of, but I am just devastated that an old symptom had returned, and it's worse than ever.Very hard to explain, and over the years, the doctors just throw up their hands about it. I feel not only a weakness, but I would say an inflammatory feeling in my muscles. Sometimes I feel as if I've been punched in the stomach, other times it gravitates to my upper back and shoulders.Along with this, I get a lot of gasping...

  Hi,I can't write much now, as I'm having an attack right now. I've had adds for over 10 years, I'm in my 60's, and recently have been through months of terrific stress. Been taking extra HC but doesn't help. After cooking dinner, I feel like I'm dying! I had my cort. levels checked, but that was a month or so ago, haven't heard from endo. I did call, but no call back.My sodium is always good. Wondering if I'm coming to the end of this disease, that's how weak I feel. Any thoughts?Judith in CT
