  I'm so excited for 17 days! Something feels different about this time the further I get the less I think about it and slowly but surly just getting on with my life

  Its been 11 days since I last had anything to drink. I have a cold but feel better I've been  wavering between good and bad days but I am still going. It's odd though no body around me wants to talk about it or anything to do with my drinking they all just want me to be "normal" or "ok" which is odd to me but I get it they all hurt to and I've caused them pain. It makes it harder to recover when you can see the hurt plain on their faces. I suppose it should make it easier but it's a tigger of...

  So the steps I'm taking seem to be helping. I'm feeling positive and that's big for me. Starting to take every moment of happiness I do have as a movement to believing I can be happy longer than a few moments at a time. But I struggle at bed time because I don't sleep well and when I don't I think a drink would help me but I know that it's a bad pattern to get into. I have terrible dreams mostly surrounded by my past with Alcohol : /. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and been...

  I'm going through steps and trying to live in this hour of this day and so far it's going well only 16 minutes left and then I'll start again this is all I can manage right now so hopefully it's good enough
