Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

As Bob has stated, AA is almost everywhere so maybe a call or email to AA General Service Office would give you information about meetings in your area.
If it turns out that you cannot get AA meetings, you can still succeed by having a Plan B. Talk to your doctor and find out if there are counselling services available. You can also keep posting and reading here on D.S.
I spoke to a councellor here - she was excellent in helping at the start one-to-one but I that will soon come to an end (my choice) and I really feel I would benefit from talking to people who really understand the ups and downs and struggles of being in this situation.. She also knows there is a huge gap if the languages don't match up..
So many times I've been offered a drink and when I say no, they ask why and it's not the place where I want to tell people i'm in recovery.. so then they tell me to have a day off and just to have one for fun.. etc. etc.. it's getting tougher. Anyway- thanks for the help - I appreciate it. I was having a bad day..
