Alcoholism Support Group
Alcoholism is the continued consumption of alcoholic beverages, even when it is negatively affecting your health, work, relationships and life. If you think alcohol is causing you to lose control, it's time to seek help. Our group is a safe place to vent, check in, get back up if you fall, and reach sobriety.

I remember getting my 30 day chip at an AA meeting, to very loud applause from those who knew just how hard it was to accomplish! ....it was a very proud moment for me and motivated me to get the next one at 2 months.
Keep on keeping on!

If you don't mind me asking, how bad was your detox? I know I was typically drinking a 1/2 bottle or rum - half of .75 liter - and would wake up somewhat hungover and foggy. If I went more than that, the morning was ugly. So, 27 days ago I decided to stop being stuck on stupid. I had a few headaches but nothing else. I guess it depends on body chemistry.
Keep on keeping on!
