  hi everyone... when I joined this group a handful of you connected with me and helped me through my worst time .... it could of been a comment a message a hug ... it all helped but lately I have not seen most of you posting so I just wanted to say I hope you all are doing well ( I hope that for everyone on here) hugs

  today I talked on the phone with my STBX he is taking our dogs up north for the weekend ... we are kind and honest with one another and he says he would never hurt me and that he took a job out of state. At the end of the call he says Happy St Patrick's Day ... don't forget to wear green! After I hung up I cried and cried and cried ... even though this is best for both of us it makes me so sad ... 20 years together and now he's going to be so far away and no longer my best frien or husband.   when my STBX left everyone was there for me calls ...invites ...texts ... but now it's been a couple months and I'm doing much better but the attention has gone away. It makes me a little scared of having that alone feeling again. I get it everyone has busy life's and I'm not alone maybe I need to add to my circle of friends. I actually only need the attention of my best friend but he goes from giving a lot of attention to not enough ( that's what I get for having a guy best friend)

  I wanted to address those of you who were the person who left the marriage... no judging as I've come to realize I should have done this years ago .... I just wanted to know if you ever look back and miss your STBX ? My STBX left me and I'm doing really well I know it's best for me but the other day something funny happened with our dogs and I wanted to tell him but I thought I better not he will think I'm trying to win him back ... anyway it made me kinda sad

  so since a couple weeks ago when I realized I will be just fine on my own I fact even better cause looking back I was not really happy I was just staying in a marriage that was familiar to me so it felt safe. Anyway the other day I called my STBX and told him I was not going to beg him to come back again and I was now on the same page as him so maybe we could work together to make the divorce easy on both of us... since then we have been texting more about the dogs and bills... and I figure I...

  So I'm going on 5 weeks since my STBX left.... however the last week I have been happier then I have been in a long time. I guess I'm worried that this is not normal and I'm going to crash and have a breakdown. I feel excited about my future.. I am working on my fitness and doing really well... I'm excited to live on my own ... no more fighting... living in my xs shadow ... I really was no longer attracted to him any longer now that I look back. I think when this all happened I was scared about...
