  Hi Everyone! I have been doing IVIG Gamunex C 25mg for 5 months.  I did Hizentra Sub Q for a year before that.  I have more energy now with Gamunex and less migraines and nausea. With Hizentra where ever I did the iv's I had lumps that never went away and pain there all the time. My body is not excepting to Sub-Q.  The only thing that is the same is that I still get a sinus infection and viruses every month with Gamunex. Should I be on a higher dose than 25mg???

  Hi everyone! I just did my second infusion of Gamunex-C.  The first month they did the infusion slowly.  I had 3 days of feeling like I had the flu after the infusion.  It was only severe on the first day.  This month they did the infusion fast, and I am on day 4 of severe flu-like symptoms (fever, nausea, mild rash, shakey/weak).  Also, I am getting migraines every day.  Is this normal????  I feel fine during the infusion.  The side effects always kick in the next day.  My daughter...

  I just switched from Sub-q to IVIG.  I did Sub-q (Hizentra) for a year.  I never felt good and had bad side effects all year.  I had to see a new doctor because my doctor wouldn't switch me.  He said he didn't like dealing with my insurance.  He said I need to suck it up and not rock the boat.  So I went to a new doctor at U of M.  She got it approved in a week.  I had my first IVIG (Gamunex-c) last thursday. OMG it was heaven compaired to sub-q.  I did get super sleepy and flu like...

  Hi. I have been doing Hizentra Sub-Q for a year now.  My numbers only went up slightly.  I am still getting sick a lot and getting side effects from Hizentra.  I only get 2 or 3 days (every 12 days I do the sub-q) feeling better.  I am frequently nauseous and exhausted.  I went to another Immunologist and she go it approved to switch to an IVIG center once a month.  Has anyone done both treatments? Any input? I am nervous switching.Susan

  hi everyone! I have been doing Hizentra Sub-Q for almost a year now and I just got my Igg results. It only went up 100 points. Shouldn't it have gone up more than that?  I have not felt any better and have been getting sick a lot. Or is that normal?????Susan
