  I have to create this list so I have something to come back to during the weak moments.He is toxic for me because:-he lied to me from the beginnnig (not having a girlfriend to than telling me he does have a girlfriend and she lives with him)-he was never able to give me the emotional support I would look for in a friend-when I wasn't with him, I didn't feel comfortable.   Today I woke up feeling the tiniest bit more optimistic about things. I woke up feeling more hopeful that there is hope. I guess what I feel the least hopeful about is that I won't be able to heal this fear of being alone. Due to that fear, I have done somethings since the breakup that were attempts to "feel better" and "make the pain go away", but all I was doing was masking the feelings.   I'm not going to say that I "threw away" my 8-year relationship, however I did choose to end things in October and on the bad days it feels like I threw away what we had. I had been unhappy and unsatisfied in the relationship for about a year, however stopped communicating with him about this because I did not want to cause him more anger or argue about it.
