I would like to share a little bit from my heart.
I love all of the good people here on this site, and I believe that we can help each other.
This thread is an opportunity to let us know that you are here. You all mean so much to me and we can't help each other if we don't know each other.

I have been around, mostly just reading. I haven't felt much like posting, as I have nothing positive to say. I've been spending minimal time online, but always enjoy reading what's going on w/ everyone here.
The heat has reached the northeast! It's 96 degrees here today, with high humidity. You better believe I have been on the lookout for people leaving dogs in cars. THAT is one thing that REALLY gets me angry. Like Manny, my dogs have literally just stepped out to potty, and are right back in the nice AC house.
Ray, glad your migraine has lifted.
Nealy, I am so sorry about your friend.
Toni, continued hugs, hopes, and prayers for your guy (and for you as well)...I so hope you have answers soon, and that whatever the problem is, that it can be easily fixed, and he can recover quickly.
Hippy, Hope the GI issues leave you soon!
To everyone else, thanks for checking in! Thanks for the hugs you've all sent to me, they mean so much. I continue to be so amazed by this group..such a wonderful bunch of people! Love and hugs to all!
The purpose here is to keep in touch. It would be nice to have folks just stop by daily and say hey. If you need a hug they are in abundance here. We are loving and we want you all to participate. I have a deep concern for each and everyone here. Please stop by.

Hope everyone had a pain free day, for me it was ok I did not do so much so no harm no foul but I am hoping to get some house work done tomorrow as the clothes need to be washed and I am not so good at it my mom still comes over once every two weeks to help me out. OK dont laugh but she says she likes to do it so who am i to say no.
11longyears, I eat just like you I love the hotdog and the chili dog is the best, I live by Detroit so we have coney islands and if you ever had a coney dog you would be hooked for sure even if you were not a hot dog eater before.

Sixteen more days of my treatment. Time is dragging. Felt lousy all week. This heat is unbelievable .We're stuck in the house, poor dogs can't stand it either, Addy's like Hippy's dogs, a lab/boxer mix and can't take the heat at all. Luckily, she's no puppy and content to lay around in the cool. The condensers froze on our Unit yesterday., I was in a panic but hubby was able to get it running in a couple of hrs. I'm scared to death it will happen again. Sis-in-law said "If it happens again you come over but.... we can leave our dogs and can't take them with us. I'm not going to leave my pups in this hot box and they're not outside dogs nor would I put them out. They couldn't take it!!!
@ David: this tread is great. A real opportunity to catch up w/ everyone!! Rocco is sooooo cute!! How old is he?
@ Manny, you were one of the first to welcome me to DS and are part of my DS fam.!!
@ Rayray, kids can be butts but when an adult is putting them up to it, that's pretty low. To use your child like that is crappy!!
@ Tipper, so good that you're back home w. us!! I missed you sooooo much. I know you're steamy down in FLA.!
@ Cherry, I don't know how you're managing to do hair!! My Uncle was a stylish and I know what a toll it takes on your whole body!! Hope you're scheduling yourself light right now.
@ Ducky, oh my dear friend, I'm so sorry your feeling so rough! Glad Mom's up and around! You take care of everyone else but please focus on yourself right now!
@ Hippy, thanks so much for your sweet hugs and comments in my journal. I wish you could post a pic of those pups!!
If I didn't say someone to ea. of you, just know I love you all and you are my dear, dear DS Family.
I could go through and name everyone but I want you all to feel better, glad you're here, wish I could hug you, take away those insecurities that hold you back, and steal Rocco.
Thanks for bringing us this way to get even closer to each other David.
It's going to be a long day. I will have been up for 7 hours when I start my first client! I'm working from 9-12. I should be able to handle that and I can predict a nap in the afternoon! My Chihuahua, Ricky, loves the cuddle time with me.
