I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.
I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

I got 1.2 km of walking in again today.

It's been a hard week for walking for me, but I"m still hoping to get out for 1 km today. Fingers crossed.

I walked my 1.2 km yesterday and took gorgeous pictures of the sunset, too. Though I was in a lot of pain I'm glad I did it. I'm going to try again today.

I've been getting a lot of exercise in due to the Spring weather. I walked a mile, hiked 4 miles and worked outside for 3 hours last week.

I got 1.75km walked in the cool a/c of the mall today.

I had a skip a day due to CKD pain, but today I got back to it and walked 1.5km.

I walked a little less today, 1.1km, but that's still beyond my daily 1km goal. We're about to enter the 5th month of 2024 without my needing to be on crutches or confined to a wheel chair. I was three times in 2023, so I'm really enjoying 2024, believe me!

I couldn't walk today. It's just as well; the temperature went up to 101 degrees Fahrenheit. Hopefully I can walk tomorrow AND the weather will cool off a little, too.

I'm in day 2 of being unable to walk now. During the night I got up to use the bathroom and nearly collapsed. I caught myself, which is good because I did collapse in the bathroom once and I got a bleeding wound from it when I hit my head on a pipe. I'm struggling to get back on my feet. Maybe tomorrow.

After 2 days without being able to walk, I managed to walk 1.1 km just now. OUCH, did it ever hurt! But I'm proud I did it and haven't wound up in my wheelchair yet in 2024. Fingers crossed.

I walked 3 miles this week.

Nice going, Rizen As you could see here, I had nerve pain this week and had go skip walking for a couple of days. I walked 1.1km today, though, I'm glad to say.

I just walked 1.1km today again, keeping my walking as consistent as CKD nerve damage pain from PTSD meds allows.

I only walked 1.o6 km today but I got it done. It helped that I did mall walking today, walking in the mall here in Mexico that's a copy of the malls in the USA. That meant that there was indoor a/c. What a blessing.

I walked that exact minimum today again, so I'm keeping to my goal's minimum without missing walking altogether. It's working. I've still been out of that wheelchair for all of 2024 so far. Knock on wood.
