Rafael I'm here for you. I'm an attorney and some of the lies I've told threaten my carrier, that is why I'm here I don't want my carrier or my family threatened by my behavior anymore. I'm not lie Fred today I've told a few small lies but at least I haven't told any new huge ones. It's hard just take it one day at a time. We all have to surrender to the fact that we are liars, and we must fight that compulsion. I know it seems hard when you think your world is crashing in because of your lies but know there is a way out. We can get better.

Finding this group has helped me get through today. Its hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel but it seems that many of the people in this group have. Just spend my entire Civ Pro class looking at post on this group. Thanks for the words of encouragement. I am taking this an hour at a time.

Glad you got something out of the lecture on YouTube. I am listening to something from AA almost every day and find it is keeping me honest. Let the Higher Power do the hard stuff. Just tell the truth and trust that It will all be for the good. Of course telling the truth to hurt someone is not OK. LOL

I told a lie right off the bat this morning to my paralegal. I don't even know why it was about something dumb and unimportant. I'm trying though I really am. One day at a time.

I tried doing EEG today to help get myself focused on what I am talking about. I highly recommend looking into it if you are interested in changing what you focus your brain on. It will be a long process. You have to remember that you got to the point you are now at over a very long period of time. However you are is how you are and it will take work to change it. Meditating to keep mindful about what you are doing will make it easier to watch what comes out of your mouth.

Tough day. I have seen that the best thing for me to do is figure out how to be more in the moment and aware of what is going on around me. It will certainly be a long road ahead.. i don't know what I will be able to do with myself once I figure out how to control the overactive mind that has gotten me to where I now am. But all I can do is work at improving.

Hello everyone. I am checking in for the first time in 3 days. I started a new job this week and was exhausted on Thursday night and Friday night. Things have been going very well at work. There have been three instances where I felt the impulse to lie to make myself look better in front of my peers, but kept myself in check. I haven't lied today. So far so good!

Checking in busy at work, its been difficult trying to juggle it at all, especially since I lose track of time. But I am going to try a new system so that way I can make sure I prioritize this over everything else.

Checking in, I'll be picking up mother from airport and then going over then hotel business and the changes corporate needs. Good news is my grandmother is recovering really really well and pretty much out of the woods and mother can get back to help with business. I have to drive back and fourth for a bit since we are getting new software this week and completely different then the previous one so everyone well have to train on it. I just hope this week goes well and lie free of course.

Checking in, I am reducing the lies day by day. I tried to just stop telling lies, but it is very difficult because it is in my blood. Today, I lied only three times, and I really regret that because they are so silly lie about. I am really looking to stop all of this very soon because I am tired of the lies. Today at college, Students and some friends were going away from me because they know that I am a liar. Ugggh, I miss the days where I used to have so much fun with the person whom I love the most :( I organized a surprise party for her birthday and she loved it, but I still feel that there is some distance between us. I am trying to be a better person for her then for me.

Checking in. I am wiggling along. Trying to keep more positive than negative and getting out to do things. Very small things but things non the less. I have been wanting to keep my meditation up, increase how much I exercise, and to reduce my overeating.

I don't know of any face to face support groups in my area. (the inland empire of Southern California) But I might be interested in Skyping if you want to talk out some issues.
