Liars Anonymous Community Group
A support group to provide those with a compulsive addiction to lie a place to share hope, strength and courage with others like them; solve our common problem and help others with a compulsion to lie. We aren't alone!
Me, I am pleased to report that I now have 44 days of honesty under my belt! I'm little over two weeks away from being handed my 60 chip by my Liars Anonymous sponsor! I'm still kind of kicking myself in the a** sometimes, as to why I couldn't have started my recovery and have progressed to where I'm at now, back when my ex-fiance was with me? For it's depresses me sometimes to think that if I could have started my recovery towards honesty sooner, and she could have seen then, like where I'm at now, it would have been a big time "deal changer"! I'm certain that if she could have seen the progress, she would have stayed. But there again, I am slowly learning from my support group and my sponsor that this sort of stuff can't be done to keep people from leaving us, it can only be done for ourselves. My heart still thinks it's a bugger deal though.
One step at a time.
