We used to hangout all the time together, but now we only talk by texting and calling. She can't sit with me and thats hurting me so much. :'(
I love that girl so much and I would do anything to get her back.
Pls I need help because I am so lost.
Stopping Lying isn't about will power. No addiction can be overcome by sheer will. You have to follow the 12 steps as laid out by AA- Just substitute Lying for Drinking.

I have lied a lot throughout my life. I used to be on Ritalin when I was young (age 6-12) and am curious if that has something to do with my lying. Has anyone else been on ADHD medication and developed poor socialization skills? I personally have a really hard time discussing things realistically and keeping up with the pace of conversations, reading, and developing logical thoughts.
Here is my quick life shpeel:
I always drifted from group to group throughout my life and have not kept up with anyone in particular about what has been going on in my life. I used to be rather heavy up until the end of my Sophmore year in high school. My highest weight on a scale was 295lb and it was at this point that I started walking to school plus making a poor attempt at changing my diet. I ended up losing a significant amount of weight and decided to try wrestling the next year because I wanted to show off that I had the ability to best someone else in a physical situation. (Masculine identification issues) I didn't do very well in wrestling but was simply ok at it but felt that I had to prove something by being on the team. I got hurt while wrestling at the beginning of my senior year and started hanging out with people that shared my discontent with society. I think my main issues with it have stemmed from me not liking myself due to being unhappy with life and how I value myself. At this point I started smoking pot and kept doing dumb things with people. I began to experiment with other drugs and had some bad mushroom experiences. I had decided to move to Santa Barbara for school after visiting a friend of a friend at the time and partying. It seemed like the most amazingly fun place ever. But it was not a sustainable fun. The place was called Isla Vista and I thought I would definitely want to live there. I weaseled my way into a house with 8 other guys and they thought I was a super sociable cool party animal, which is how I come off when I want people to see me that way. I was very unhappy up there. I even started to grow pot because I simply wanted to and resented so many semi practical things like government regulations against marijuana as excuses for why I felt the way I did. I continued to grow pot throughout my time in college. I moved every year and got different roommates while staying in Santa Barbara for 4 years attending SB City College then CSU Channel Islands through an extended university program at SB City College. I took summer school classes because I felt that I should to make use of the lease time I had on places I was living. I did okay and bludgeoned my way though college. The perception of failing always scared me so I would try to maintain a decent GPA. I had several strokes of luck along the way and figured out why I wasn't the most ideal student . I had a hard time making myself care about me so learning was always a challenge. It wasn't until my upper division classes through CSU Channel Islands that I started to see that I had no real direction and thought I wanted to get into marketing at one point. I was starting to really feel down and depressed after one failed attempt at putting together a marketing campaign that was not well thought out at all. I started to move to a couple of different places around Santa Barbara thinking that it was the environment I was in that made me feel so down. The first marketing class I took made me think I could do something in marketing so I started looking for an internship in that field when I made it back to Santa Barbara for my Senior year in college. I ended up with an internship that I didn't do very well but struggled along to maintain it. The boss didn't really know what she wanted me to be doing either, she started using Linkedin to find contacts for her product marketing and I was given full control of it. I was still doing school and found myself getting more and more sad. I thought that moving in with the girlfriend I had throughout college would be a good idea and make me feel better so we were planning on moving in together after she graduated college and while I finished my last semester in Santa Barbara. She never really was a happy person and I wasn't either so misery attracted misery I suppose. We didn't ever see eachother for long periods of time through out college and became official boyfriend and girlfriend halfway through freshman year of college. I got lucky at one point when I was hired by a company to manage bike taxis in Santa Monica. It was at this point that I decided to ask my girlfriend if she thought it was a good idea to move in together in Santa Monica. We made the move down there and within about a month I decided I didn't want to be with her anymore and said that I had different life goals from hers. She wanted me to "compromise" but I said that I couldn't say that I wanted things that I didn't want (a house, kids). This breakup was fast and drastic. It was then the next few days later that I was fired by the company which hired me. This occurred around the end of August 2013
To be continued...
I should also note that my parents have been very supportive of anything I do as long as I say that it is what I want to do. Such as college and room/board. They paid for everything and I helped out only a small portion by driving a bike taxi and through my marketing internship. I am probably dwelling too much on the past but I think some background will help you folks understand where I am coming from.
My main hobby at the moment is keeping busy at work. Otherwise over eating has become too easy of a habit for me to get into.
Like all of us who are addicted to one thing or another (lying, drugs, alcohol, food, sex, etc) - it is my opinion that the only solution to our problems is a spiritual one. Just like they tell those in AA, the 12-step program gets us out of the "bondage of self" and able to consider the people around us. I have been listening to YouTube recordings of AA speakers. It has finally given me a feeling of hope that I can get well and finally be happy.
I suggest starting with this YouTube recording:

I kept listening and saying "OMG! This is ME! This is what I do and think!"
You don't have to listen to all two hours at once, break it into 1/2 hour pieces or so. Whatever works for you. I think you will hear what I am talking about.
There IS hope for us!!
