the 12-step program tells us that we don't use "willpower" or "try hard" to stay on track. I would suggest that you check out some of the videos on youtube on the 12-step program. I am learning how to turn it over to the higher power, as I understand him/her/it.

Was so dam busy today and completely forgot to check in, I didn't have incident but I need go try to make sure I stay on point so I don't slip, hopefully I can start going back to starting my day with being on the forum.

Parenting is difficult especially having a lying addiction and then your child exhibits same behavior. Very difficult for me to try to fix its just getting worse and worse, just when I think things start getting better with keeping lying under control and not telling any lies since joining forum. I have deal with this my daughter for a short period stopped telling then it was right back at it with the crazy story telling. Trying my best but it sure is eating me alive since I know I the one responsible.

Hey iswan congratulations, what's celebrate recovery like seems like a good idea I been doing really good since joining forums. I feel I can not really mess around with this addiction since its a life long struggle I figure I should take more steps to secure a healthy living.

Weekend went great and not sleeping for 48 hours since I worked straight through I still managed to be honest. Starting to really grasp it well. I'm going I can make it through to new year's and then renew as my new year's resolution.

Hiya, me again. four hours now. Its the tiny lies that are the worst. I don't even see them coming! I've resorted to rubber-band therapy, and am making an appointment with a therapist tomorrow. I can't wait until I have a FULL DAy of honesty!

Well today was a surprise had parent teacher conference and I guess I assumed it was going to be one of those days about hearing how bad my child is. I was completely wrong she starting to tell the truth behaving well doing her work and listening. Couldn't be more happier I hate for my lying addiction to have rubbed off on her. So its good to hear there is a chance since both of us have to work towards this.
