MRS, my back twinged on the right side too during my TWW! I hope that's a good sign for you ...
MJ, I'll be rootin' for you tomorrow! Waiting two months between retrieval and transfer was agony, but you're right, it does give your body (and mind) a chance to "recover" and rest.
RB, I've found that regular/constant eating in the morning helps me best. I shove a granola bar in my mouth before my foot even hits the floor and eat almost every 30 minutes until about 9:00 a.m. Then I'm eating every couple of hours. I've also found a vegetable-smoothie concoction that works. It looks like poop but tastes halfway decent and, surprisingly, helps with the nausea. Oh, and yes, your creams and suppositories will leak out ALL. DAY. LONG. Praise to the person who invented pantyliners!
Today is my grumpy day ... I woke up on the wrong side of the bed and have had either indigestion or mild cramping all day long. And some very tiny spotting. My nurse says that all are "normal" pregnancy symptoms, but I still don't like 'em! Unless it means the baby/babies are stretching, and then cramp away!
I'm off to eat my "god" food -- ice cream ;)
I just had my u/s, I now have 6 on the right and 2 on the left. Waiting for bloodwork. I'll get a call this afternoon, but I don't think I'll be triggering tonight since my biggest follie is only about 15mm. That's okay with me. Grow eggies grow!
I'm hoping the sore back thing is because my little baby is plunging on into my comfy lining :)
KDeezy: So happy to hear your ovaries got the memo and starting kicking it up a notch!
MJ: How'd it go!? Thinking of you and hoping you are well!
Deezy, Thats great! Im keeping my fingers crossed for you!!
lil, im sorry your booty is sore. I cant wait to get an update on your Beta.
As for my "god" food its anything with bread! Pasta, french dips, crackers, etc. But I could really use some Ben & Jerry's right now since I just had a dream about it.
So the retreival went really good minus that my insides are killing me! Thank goodness they prescribe pain pills because this is no beuno. But we got a total of 34 eggs. I, nor my doctor were expecting those results. Im now at high risk for OHSS, which is not fun, I was really hoping for a cup of coffee tomorrow morning. We find out tomorrow how many fertilized. Trying to keep happy thoughts!
KD, I'm hoping for a Saturday retrieval for you. I know you're ready!
Lil, I'll be going in for an U/S on your beta day. How is it not Friday yet?!
MRS, I'm gonna throw your words back at ya -- Eat whatever the hell you want :)
I started stims on Sunday! So far no crazy side effects, just soreness and volcano butt. (Although it sounds like that will change soon.) And I'm definitely not a fan of the menopur - that shit burns! I have my first u/s and acupuncture appt tomorrow so we'll see how it goes.
So my sister got married last weekend. It was amazing but holy hell it was a lot of work, and I was so exhausted I randomly burst into tears, and now I have a cold. Plus, my husband left for work Monday so I'm on my own for the rest of the cycle. Boo! Not an ideal situation, but we IVF gals are survivors, right?! We got this!
Oh, and mj, I'm freezing all my little embies too but plan to transfer after a month. Fingers crossed!
Keep up the good work, ladies!
Deezy: I did too! I actually just weighed myself because I felt "normal" again and my weight went back down. It was all ovaries/bloat! Must be a good sign all those follies are growing! Keep us posted!
I'm going to find the sadistic asshole who decided to put super dull needles on Ganirelix syringes and I'm going to stab him repeatedly with said dull needles. Pretty sure I don't need any more doses so thank God for that!
I have about 9 follicles. 20 bucks says I trigger tonight, have ER Saturday, transfer next Thursday, and beg for a beta a day early on 9/13 because I want to hear the result from my nurse and not my doctor. Yeah, I'm a weirdo. Whatever.
