Urgh! Still no call! Usually they call around 12, but that is more for daily orders. Maybe setting up transfer appointments come later in the day. I'm dying to know if my 5 babies are doing OK. I hope they made it. I'll update when I get the call.

So my ass is killing me. The PIO shot itself was actually OK, but now it hurts. I massaged and then sat on a heat pack for 1/2 hour. Is my ass going to fall off after a week of this?

I'm still bloated. I feel like my ovaries are heavy. But I assume since I feel OK that it's not OHSS? Still no poop. I'm eating fiber gummies as of this morning and have been taking stool softener. I got jealous of my dog's poop last night. What else can I do? Am I looking at visiting enema town?

Drink 8oz of room temperature prune juice. Wait 45 minutes. If nothing happens, drink another 8oz. If you aren't shitting your brains out within the next thirty minutes, I'll be shocked.

Nurse just called! I have a 10 and a 10.5 on the right and a 10 on the left. Estradiol is 144, LH is nice and low at 3. I'm going back up to 225 units of Gonal F which means I need 2 shots tonight since there's only 150 left in my current pen. Oh boy!!

I'm going to drink the whole bottle and crap all night like it's 1999.

Does anyone else sweat like a pig at night since beginning progesterone in oil? I don't even feel warm! I just wake up in a pool of sweat and it's disgusting. I also get up several times to pee. Anyone else having these side effects?

I'm curious as to what PIO is? I'm still learning all the lingo on here and that one lost me. I'm really wanting to be over shots and now I hear you have to do more in your butt? I am so not looking forward to that part.

I also spoke too soon about the pooping all the time. I have suddenly stopped. :-( I will be stopping to get Metamucil and some prune juice on my way home.

Thank you, hineschica. I really do appreciate it. How long did you wait before they did the transfer? My doctor said he likes to wait for 2-3 months but if my body cooperates, we can hopefully do the transfer in a month. I am keeping my fingers crossed my body works with me and not against me when it comes time.

MRSStrong, your butt won't fall off, but it'll hurt like hell. The good thing is that some days are better than others. I also thing it depends on where exactly you get stuck, but I haven't been able to predict where that is. I've also found that doing a glute stretch helps ease the soreness and stiffness.

Lil, I haven't sweated through my PJs since prior to transfer, but I did have a day when I had horrid hot flashes. I practically sweated through my clothes at work. And yes, peeing several times a night has become a regular thing for me since the transfer..

MJ, PIO is Progesterone Injections in Oil. You're shooting yourself with more hormones ... in the butt ... with a huge-ass needle. See if your RE will prescribe you a smaller needle for injection. I have the 22 gauge for drawing up the oil and an 18 gauge for injecting (or around those numbers). As far as how long I waited before transfer, 2-3 months is about right. One month was for prep with birth control, and the other was prep with the suppressors, estrogen, and progesterone. I was given the option of not doing the prep month, but my RE advised against that, and my DH and I didn't want to look back and go "what if" if anything happened.

Not everyone does the PIO shots. I'm lucky enough to do Crinone which is a vaginal progesterone cream that you use once or twice a day. A lot of it gets stuck up there, and a lot of it gushes out in multicolored clumps so you have to wear a panty liner at all times. Really, when it comes to luteal support, you just can't win.

I am joining all of you in the constipation nation. I'll be picking up some prune juice myself! My acupuncturist can usually get things moving and I see her tomorrow so hopefully I'll be pooping like it's my job tomorrow. MRS how did your prune juice party go?

I had an awesome poop party last night. I drank half the bottle of prune juice in sections... and nothing. I was pissed. I made the hubby get me laxative pills and right before I took one... poo party! I have never been so happy. I feel so much better today. After work I'm doing all the things I wanted to get done this week but couldn't. Then the Dr has me on bedrest for 4 days! Fuck that! But, I'll behave and do what he says. 25 hours till transfer!

Lil: No sweating yet, but I've only had 2 days of progesterone.

mjwall: Hopefully you get the suppositories, but I hear they are a pain in the butt as well. The PIO shots aren't too bad. Last night was easier. You will be a needle pro in no time!
