mjwall: Congrats on 20 follicles! Happy trigger day! I'm so excited for your retrieval. Keep us posted... we will be stalking you.
kDeezy: Glad to hear you are getting a bump! 300 should kick those ovaries into high gear! I hope you get the green light to trigger on Wednesday! Hopefully all our shitty cycle nonsense will bring us some good news. I would go through the shittiest if it means we get babies! :)
tnt: sorry for the crying. I'm sure the hubby will hang in there! These men of ours deserve some sort of metal. Although not having to do injections is a pretty good gift :)
Oh, good news! I screwed up and my beta isn't the 6th, it's the 2nd. One week and 1 day to go! A Saturday would have been ideal, but earlier is better.
How do people get results? Just a call like any normal update? Or do they call later? Leave a message? I'm worried to be at work for either news. Either way I'm going to bawl my eyes out.
Speaking of tears, I'm glad I'm not the only crying freak around here! I bawled in my car for a solid hour yesterday and cried about 6 times at work today.
TNT I'm so glad AF is here!! It's cycle time!!
The 2 that are in there stick and we have twins!! Although, I'd be happy with one, but 2 would be freaking phenomenal!! Hang on there ladies. We are almost there. Here's to all BFP!!!!
kDeezy, working from home on beta day sounds like a great idea if you're able to. I was a nervous wreck the entire day, checking my phone every two minutes. If I hadn't been at work, I'm sure I would have cried. MRS, there was no predicting my phone calls; it really depended on the day and how busy my clinic was.
No crying here ... just trying to balance feeling sick to my stomach all day and being starving. I feel sick or full for a good few hours, and then BAM! I'm so hungry I feel like I need to eat everything in sight. Which I just did. I put eight decent-size ravioli pieces and an ear of corn on my plate, promised myself I'd eat half and then reevaluate ... and just mowed through the whole thing in under five minutes. But I have a deal with God. I will be this sick or sicker for the next nine months if it means a full-term pregnancy and healthy, normal babies.
Lil hopefully your nuggets stick and you won't even remember that none made it to freeze!
I am so gassy and it's so uncomfortable. I'm so scared that bumping up my stims is going to give me bad eggs again. Mostly I'm just irritable and ouchy and I can't wait for retrieval.
Hines: Eat whatever the hell you want. If it makes you feel god, then go for it! I'm sure after the first couple months you will feel a bit more normal and you can eat fruits and veggies then :) My butt looks like a dart board. But it does make it easier to know where the next shot goes. Someone said that there seem to be "sweet spots"... its true! I hope your bruises calm down!
kDeezy: The bloat sucks! It's not even that it's kind of uncomfortable, it's that we look pregnant when that is what we so badly want to be. It's a mind fuck. Those few people that glanced at my belly almost got a bat to the face. But hang in there because it will go away. Then you will soon have baby bloat instead! :) Upping the stims will give those smaller follicles a chance to get into the measurable range, which means happy eggs. Not bad one's. Take care of yourself the best you can. Eat well, walk a lot, drink a lot of fluids, vitamins... You got this! It's your time.
3dp5td: My back hurts, mostly on the right side. I feel like I need to pop a bone out. And the PIO from 2 days ago still hurts on that side. But on the plus side, I'm getting more comfortable with them. It's a routine. Not pleasant, but I can see doing this for the long haul.
hineschicca you are so sweet! I too think of my DS gals on a daily basis and send up prayers for you all going through your fertility cycles and dealing with the heart crushing losses.
I would love to give so many of you amazing gals a real life giant hug!
Lil - Oh I'm hoping that you have twins too! That would be so great! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
Hines, I'm with you. I think about you ladies often and hope that you are doing good and pray that you all have a happy outcome. I haven't met any of you but yet I think about all of you as if I've known you for years. :-)
I hope all of you ladies are having a better day. I don't seem to be as emotional today, bloated and feeling fat yes, but at least no tears. Thankfully, retrieval is tomorrow morning and I can hopefully start to feel like a normal human being again. As much as I wanted the fresh transfer, I have to admit, I am glad my doctor won't do it. I will be thankful for those 4 weeks of recollecting myself and getting prepared for the next big step. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get a BFP sooner than later, especially after this last week but I'd like to give my body a rest after all these extra added hormones. I never realized how much they do a number on your body! Holy moly!
So today I could have cried I backed in to a bathroom doorknob it hurt soooooo bad my but is really sore :-/ So has any one dose suppositorys of projestoronie because I have to because my injections are leaking out .y skin is getting yo hard in spots the nurse said and they need to put me on suppositories but I still do the estrogen by needle because its thinner and don't leak out ! ******"Sticky Baby Dust to All!!!!************************
I have monitoring in the morning and while I'm hoping I'll get the green light to trigger tonight, I think I'll have to stim for a few more days. My ovaries are being douchebags and just don't want to give up any eggs :(
