I have 2 sisters with Stage 1 HS and at least one niece with Stage 1 HS. When I say that the HS is flaring up and really bad, they just can't grasp the concept of how BAD it can really get or how painful that it can be when spread over large areas of the body. I've really had no support through this.
I am going to try the turmeric. No one has really said what phase they were in when they started the treatment. This is my last hope. If it can just improve some of the sites...
You should not have any problems but you need to ask.
Rick H
Yes this is normal. For those of us who have been using Turmeric and Zinc for some time, we have found that if you go off the treatment for more than a few days the HS will start to flare up again. IF you go back to the T&Z it will take about a week or so to get things back under control.
Remember that this is only a maintenance program and it IS NOT a cure.
Peace
Rick H.
somebody said they were going to talk about HS on one of the morning shows on Thursday. do you know anything about it.
No I have not heard anything about it
If you find out please let me know
Rick H.
However, I started taking Curcumin 500mg (turmeric) capsules twice a day about a week ago and the results have been very good.
I think a capsule form is the best way, at least for me, to get a regulated and accurate dose.
How long have you been trying and what amounts??
Generally it will take 8-10 weeks to see zny changes.then another several weeks to see any thing significant
