Feel decent today
Hank, good luck with your assistant. I thought that book had a 100% success rate. I guess certain variable apply. Anyway I hope you feel better.
I'm glad to see that some are feeling better and at the same time give a shout out to all of you for your excellent self therapy. It is so helpful to post a little bit about how you are feeling. If we think we're whining or complaining, that is allowed. We are here for each other.
I have been working outside and it's sucking the life right out of me. I am so tired when I get home, energy is a major dilemma. Good news is that I have tomorrow off.
Hugs to all who are posting here, and watching. Anytime you need to talk my profile is open. Send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I wish you all well today.
Please keep this thread going. It really helps!!
David.
December cannot come soon enough! (Graduation)
Hugs to all!!!

Feeling anxious this morning, like the worst may happen. It's been 3 days without pain and that is a long time without. Waiting for the hammer to drop the #9. I've not eaten much so that seems to help in not triggering another migraine, but I've lost 5lbs this past 2 weeks so that's not good.
Feel like I'm standing on an old rickety fence and sometimes I just want to jump off and save the suspence.
I'm at work so if I busy myself with mundane stuff, it should go away. Eat some nuts.
They used to think that a small amount of gluten was "safe". NOT FOR ME!
Now they are discoverying that there is a spectrum of gluten sensitivity. I am on the very end. Compare it to the kid who looks at peanuts and goes into anaphalxis. That is how bad I am.
Thanks for asking!
I got a call from the surgeon today. The SCS implant surgery is scheduled for the 27th of this month.
I'm excited, but I feel a little nervous.
I hope everyone had a good day. I'll be around tonight.
Hugs to all!!!
David.
For myself. It's another day of level 6 pain. I am already taking 40 mg OxyContin three times a day and 30 mg Oxycodone every three hours as needed. I see the PM doc on Wednesday. Can't decide if I should go higher looking for relief and accept the trade-off side effects with even stronger meds or to stay at this level and just try to deal with it with PT and psychological counseling.
I wish less pain to all my friends here
Hank
