Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
I'm not out of bed yet so I'm not sure how my day will be. Yesterday I thought I was doing okay for about the first hour of the day then it hit and turned out to be a yucky day full of pain. Today I won't jinx myself like that.
I could use some hugs and positive energy for a better day today. Leaving lots of hugs for everyone and piles of peace too

I'd like to have the time to reply to a few of the threads I've read, but my ever present pain slows me down so it will have to wait. It took me such a long time to get myself nd my house ready for the clients I have visiting today.
It hurts so much to work, but somehow I manage part time. I can't say I enjoy it anymore, but I don't have a choice. Sitting here at my computer hurts like hell which is why you don't hear from me much, anymore.
But I'm here!!!
I wish we could all wake up pain-free and stay healthy, able to live life fully.
My dream is no more suffering and I'll keep dreaming until I die.

I understand pain and frustration making a person want to just scream, but wild language tends to frighten me off and I don't dare get involved for fear of not saying what the author wants to hear...I've seen what happens.
I read people wanting advice about meds or procedures that I'm not familiar with...again, I can't be of help.
I see so many who put themselves in the hands of their God and suggesting it's that way for everyone...I have issues with that so I remain quiet.
Apparently, all I can do is join in here...my safe place...and offer hugs and comfort for my friends who are suffering.

Pain level has been down a bit, which is amazing, much needed and appreciated. One day this week I even woke up with zero bladder pain and for a few hours, I didn't know what to do with myself coz I didn't hurt. I was mahvelous dahling!!
I have so many blessings in my life and I am very, very grateful for DS.
Hugs,
j
Hmmmm.... might borrow a few hugs today.....
Love n Hope for all..... x
@Cherry:; I understand your reasons for staying quiet, I feel the same. I tend to share more in a smaller safer group. I'm really glad you at least keep us updated here in this thread (Thanks David). Huge gentle hugs
To everyone else big hugs and wishes for peace in your heart - we're all in this together

With that said, I am leaving a great big pile of gentle hugs and warm smiles here... along with lots of positive thoughts, healing energy and wishes for minimal pain for whoever is in need of any or all of the above. Hoping we can continue to find the strength to cope with the difficulties we are faced with in life... and may we always find support and caring friendships here in DS land.
Take care... Gaye... xxx
I slept from 9:00 until 2:00...pretty good stretch, for me. I'm not looking forward to the time change, though. I wish it could just be left one way or the other. It takes too long to adjust!
For any of you in the path of the big East coast storm, please be safe. I'm inland far enough that it's supposed to be mostly high wind with some rain. We've been enjoying a few beautiful days in a row, but that's coming to an end in a day or so.
So...I'll leave the usual hugs along with extra batteries, bottled water, canned food, sand bags...all the storm provisions!

Take care everyone, and keep safe.
I am also leaving best wishes and lots of good luck for the members of this group who are in the path of the storm in the US... hoping everyone comes through completely unscathed.
Take care... Gaye... xxx
