Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

The night before, I slept for what most people would think was a good, normal number of hours. For me, it was way too many and I awakened in the worst pain from not moving around.
I had to work at 8:00 and it was a seriously labor intensive job. I thought I would collapse before I finished but, gritting my teeth, I got through it. Another difficult morning is booked for today and instead of sleeping soundly, I've barely slept at all!
It's 1:30 and I can't decide whether to bother trying for more sleep or call it a night.
Wishing sweet dreams to all...
Crazy how things like this hit us so much harder than the "normals".
Be careful everyone and use that hand sanitizer everywhere!
Hugs

Survived an evening of baby (young adults) sitting last night and watched a cool cartoon movie called "Up"........... hmmmm.... I like cartoons... 8-)
Huge Hugs n Hopes are up for a wonderful weekend..... x
I could use lots of hugs, I'm in alot of pain and nothing seems to be helping it.... so tired of this. It would be so amazing to just be comfortable for a little while.
Leaving lots of hugs for everyone, Happy Sunday

I had a client coming for a color/cut/wax/style and it's not one of those people who could just come the next day instead. She lives over 2 hours away. I managed.
My Sister came down to help clean the house for the birthday party we were having for Mom at 4:00. It got done.
I made the cake of Mom's choice in the afternoon...yellow cake with penuche frosting. I cheated on the dinner part. Mom, at 86, loves a pizza party so we ordered from the best place in town.
My Sister made one more stop in for...can't even remember what, and I ended up coloring her hair which desperately needed attention.
Anyway...I apologize to anyone I may have tried to chat with and then disappeared. It was never my intent, but my computer is way in the corner of my bedroom which the farthest room down the hall of 15 stairs from the main house. When someone shows up and I go that far to see who, I often get sidetracked. Focus isn't my strong suit, right now.
I'm giving a big group hug and settling myself in for the evening.
I think the last med change, and talking to a psychologist, has been beneficial.
I hope you all have a great week.
Big Hugs,
David.
Happy Thanksgiving!
