I'm a little nervous now that it's starting to get dark. It's just beginning the peak hours for high wind and I'm here with all my critters, in a 112 year old house. The gusts are getting scary and it's just a matter of time and I'll lose power.

Wishing safety for all affected by this storm.

I need to talk to others about their experiences with this stuff. For some reason, I feel like it will stop me from obsessing over my own condition, as paradoxical as that seems.

I've been battling both pain and depression as of late. It's tough to force myself to function on even the most simple levels lately. I've been praying for help. I really want and need to be there for my family. Sometimes I would like to just hide in bed. But my family needs me.

I'm here. Today is better than yesterday. I'm actually contemplating getting out of the house today. I recently joined, I'm watching, and I can always use a hug.

I'm just bringing this thread back to the first page. It makes me sad that our daily check in has been replaced.

I wish David could participate more often so you could get to know his generous spirit, but I understand how busy life is. When I first joined, he made me feel so welcome and safe.

So...this is the thread I will continue to use. Wishing everyone anice Sunday.
