Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
We might cross paths. Am going to my foot surgeon for a broken toe and an infection.
Saw my pain doc yesterday. He took a copy of my insurance denial letter and the appeal letter I wrote them and he is going to write a letter explaining my condition and limitations and such. I hope his letter is favorable for me. The last letter he wrote didn't help me much as he inadvertently put in a loophole they used against me. I pointed it out to him so hopefully he is more careful with his wording this time. *fingers crossed*
Take care everyone and hope you have a pain free day and many moments of joy. Sending hugs and peace to all.

I've been up since just after midnight with neck pain that has been so bad since PT yesterday. I showed up for my appt. with a tolerable pain level and left feeling crippled. I have too much that I want to get done for Christmas to have this stop me in my tracks...grrrrrrr.
I'm leaving hugs for all who need them...thinking I could use some, too.
Thank you all for being out there
Peace
Michael
Thankyou all for being awesome, so appreciated..... having a lot of issues with DS today, so thinking of all of you.... n hopes for relief are up....
Wahoooo.... Santa is coming soon 8-)... I like Santa....
I ended up having to go back to PT yesterday for an emergency evaluation since the pain from the treatment the day before, wasn't letting up. I saw the owner of the clinic...I love him and always used to see just him so I was kind of glad my regular wasn't in.
He was rather surprised at how bad it's gotten for me. He said my thoracic spine is immobile...hence the pain going from my neck to that part of my back. He did a couple chiro type crunches on me...the second one being way too painful. His words were, 'You're in an acute, nasty flare'.
I'm not sure where to go from here. I'll continue PT even though it doesn't seem to be doing much. I see my doc on the 31st...she's useless and is now acting snippy with me.
I'm so discouraged...
Hugs,
Dix
David.
