I am finding that the less I think about the "good" times and the more I think about the things that really annoyed me, pissed me off or the stupid things my stbx did, the better and stronger I feel.
So, maybe your entries to this post can help most if not all of the DSers through this difficult time.
I'll start (and I have a lot):
1. My stbx literally screwed my throw rugs to the floors (in kitchen, dining room, living room, and den) because he said they kept moving.
2. He put the upright vacuum on the seat cushion of the new couch (while it was running) and it sucked the material up around the roller which burned a permanent long mark in the fabric. He said he didn't know it would do that.....duh!

I'll start (and I have a lot):

2. Couldn't stand ANY magnets on the fridge, said it looked "too messy".
3. Insisted that spices be in a closed drawer or rack, open shelf is, you guessed it, "too messy" for him.
4. When it came time to pay rent and he did not want to pay his share he would bring up something from years ago tht he said I owed him for. For example: You owe me half the money for the time I bought gas last summer. I never let him get away with it, but he tried again and again.
5. Would claim that all he needed was a bag of rice to get by, therefore he should not pay for half the groceries.
6. When we broke up I moved out of our cute house in the woods because he has so much stuff on the property that it would take months to move. I did not want to stay there one more minute!
7. Would talk in his sleep just about every morning, waking me up, sometimes screaming in his sleep too. Even woke me up if I slept in another room.
8. Eats whatever he wants but never gains a pound. I hate that sooo much.
9. Would find dishes in the garbage and put them with the regular dishes to be washed by me. Um, GROSSS!
10. would fill the stairs to the basement with junk so that I couldnt even get down there without breaking my neck.
11. Saved everything "just in case". When we moved it took a week to move his "treasures", mostly garbage. Then he wonders why i'm angry.
12. On trips he would stop and ask people if we could camp on their property for free. Um, what the hell? One time he insisted that we camp in a park in the middle of the city. the cops came and he got fined. I was so embarassed.
13. Would "dissappear" for 3 or 4 hours without saying a word when we were cottaging. Even if we had company. He never apologized. I was fishing, hed say.
14. Gave me gifts and then later claimed he just loaned them to me. Or that I could have it but had to pay him for it.
15. Kept insisting that the dog did not need a muzzle when we clipped her nails, even though she would bite him EVERY TIME. He just didn't get it. So he got bitten, again, and again. Stupid.
we would have to sleep on the bed without sheets if i hadn't put them on. i hate that. especially since the mattress had been peed on by her kids.
she wouldn't change the baby all day long while i was gone to work. stunk like hell when i got home.
she NEVER flushed the toilet and told her five year old not to because it was a waste of water. i'm paying the bill. HELLO!!!!
she left used feminine items under the car seats, on the floor in the house, and even in the yard if one fell out of the car.
she only took a bath once a week and bathed her kids once a week unless i threw a fit after i learned they hadn't had a bath but once that week.
when she did clean, she'd sweep all the food on the floors up under the couches and tabels thinking i wouldn't find it. i followed the ants.
she left empty douche bottles laying in the shower if and when she cleaned herself. sorry, but that's nasty.
i have so much more but i'll save it for now.
Dumped your ex needs more than a caution label. We're going to need a whole dang user's manual with several pages of caution notes!
2. My stbx enjoyed throwing in my books to the used book store to sell, unknowing to me....
When he ran out of clothes..he would do an "emergency load" of HIS stuff. never ONCE washed anything of mine.
Famous for overdrawing his checking account. I kicked him out of mine after we had been married for 1 year.
