Ht November, welcome to the lounge. I try to keep it active and even though we have fewer people dropping in these days sometimes we even manage to have a good time.
wolfgang arrived with all the accoutrements to take away the range but the bloody plumber never showed to disconnect it. I am very down about this as I was so looking forward to getting rid of it after waiting for years to have it done.
We had a nice dinner though but I am finding it difficult to engage with him with all the pain and anxiety which he does not understand at all. He is also quite a negative person who thinks he is positive so It is difficult to hear all the 'rants' that are repeated over and over again.
Thankfully he has now gone to bed so I have my peace and quiet back again, yay.
I;m going to sit here for a while and munch on chocolate covered marzipan and have some mulled wine as an early christmas treat. Big pot of it on the hot plate for anyone who wishes to indulge.
I think I might go out and lie in the sun in a little while, I could do with that lovely warmth and light.

I have left a 'ginormous' chocolate cake with fresh cream and a choclate brandy sauce, Just made to celebrate November's Cancer Free news.

Yes, Jan, I love Fridays too. I intend to do nothing and as much of it as possible. A friend is calling round tomorrow evening to share a few glasses of wine and something to eat and am looking forward to seeing her.
Megan has an important audition on Monday and Gearoid has a job interview (he left his new job as head chef last friday. such a pity) so send some good energy to both of them that all will go as is right for each of them now.
I have left some baked ham, sprouts, carrots, mashed potato and a really nice gravy. I never had ham with gravy before but it is tasty!
There are some chocolate dipped strawberries with fresh cream for afters.

Time to carve the turkey and dig in to our feast here in the lounge.
There is a ton of holiday fare and I saw the unicorns return earlier for christmas so a welcoming nod to them and am stocking up on sparkles to feed them.
I am enjoying a pot of delicious mulled wine here in the lounge and there is plenty for all to share.

I am resting here again on a big comfy recliner beside a huge fire and having some oatmeal with blueberries, oranges and raspberries. It warms the soul.

I can hear my voice echoing in the silence.

Time for an old style breakfast of bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushroom, sausage, black pudding, boxty and hot toast. Big pots of black tea, herbal tea and good coffee for all and the makings of smoothies prepped and in the cooler.
It is also past time to decorate, hopefully mark will bring a good tree this year and maybe we could revive a Party and some chandelier swinging - long overdue!
Feeding the unicorns before I go and I think I saw some reindeer hovering outside too. I wonder if the dragon is hiding somewhere.
Maybe I'll go lie in the sun before I start my day and forget the RL cold for a little while.

Ditto on the cuppa! It's chilly and I've done a days work and morning isn't over yet!
