I hope you feel better. you probably need all the sleep after your holiday. they do tend to wear us out, particularly the getting home and sorting everything out.

I brought some organic veg soup with fresh breads if anyone would like a light dinner.
Just going to sit here and rest for a while with a small ruby port. I have had a few long, stressful days.

bacon, eggs, sausage, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, boxty, maybe some baked beans. pots and pots of hot tea and toast.

rest for the day in the soft, warm sunshine and maybe later we will have a smooth red wine with a good steak....

Mmmm coffeeee. I have started drinking flavored creamers in my coffee again. Maybe they aren’t healthy but boy are they a delightful treat.

have taken off the dustsheets again and did a paint job of shades of yellow in the main lounge to bring sunshine with us into autumn. it has gone cold here so I am lighting a big fire and settling down with some stuffed muchrooms and sweet potato fries with a pepper sauce dip.

going to sit here and enjoy the peace and enjoy the new fresh smell and maybe then I;ll have a glass of pinot noir to take me back to the Louvre last weekend. Tres bien.
