SunCloud my only tip is make sure you get enough protein in a meal so that you aren't hungry an hour later. I know it sounds simple and it so isn't but find a way to make one meal last until the next with no eating in between...you may have to change portion sizes to accomplish that.

Your soup and bread sounds Wonderful!!! do you make your own bread too? I found a recipe online for soda bread I'd like to try...my dear neighbor made all his bread and once I helped him kneed it...I miss him much. One day I guess he fell, went to hospital, and died three days later....I think he was ready and I'm glad he didn't suffer...he was 92.
John is coming today, we'll go get his "Christmas gift"...a new lap top...it's on sale. He's "SO excited"....I'll get his old one as mine broke.
Fish, steamed carrots, butter nut squash and acorn squash or a chicken salad...he Loved the chicken I cooked the last time....and a side of squash...he loves that too :) for dinner tonight...not sure what yummy will come after... there is a small dinner near by, if I'm not feeling up to cooking, we may end up there!
Be Well and have a wonderful day!
