I've just made some red pepper jelly just the thing over a bar of cream cheese! I brought the really good corn chips...dig in!

the place is looking good after a bit of dusting and lighting the fire. I hope Mark comes with a nice big tree. the unicorns look so happy to be back too and i think i heard a bellow of welcome from the dragon's lair. anyone remember his name?
cream cheese and red pepper jelly sound just the thing to go on peppered crackers and i made a huge pot of coffee and brought a few choices of teas.

bring on the decorations folks the place is still looking a bit bare though i am glad i found all the christmas lights. looks like they are working as a beacon for weary travellers to sit down on a comfy recliner beside the big fire and just relax. let the world go on without us for a little while. and of course it wouldn't be that time of year if didn't play leon redbone and ''frosty the snowman' I don''t think i've missed a year since i joined DS.
