You mean that there is a name for IT? Im not weird? Trichotillomania, that big, long word that is the bane of our world. With knowledge and support of others we CAN break free and live without this disorder interfering with our lives. Lets keep this uplifting and supportive and give each other the encouragement the other needs to make it to that next day.
and as booyah pointing out.. maybe squeezing a brain heheheh..
have you tried bach rescue remedy..
remember that pulling makes us anxious.. try to have a nice relaxing bath before bedtime.. with a little bit of lavender on your pillow..
sending you positive pull free vibes ;-)
Luleee, yes a hat is the BEST barrier. No I haven't tried that, hmm. And yes pulling DOES make me anxious. It's so stupid. it provides fleeting pleasure, and a distraction. But also anxiety and depression and regret! A bath before bed sounds great, thanks so much.
Thanks QueenMarie :)
Well I just handed in a huge project that's been draining my life for the past few days. YAY! I really hate how working is such a big trigger for me. It's made me consider switching careers before, and still kinda does. Well not just the pulling but the stress, which also equals pulling.
OK, I'm going to do my best to try to be pull free starting... now.
Pulled so much today, grrr. Stupid short lived magical feeling it brings.
Awareness! Commitment! Barriers!
Yep Manda, sooooo cute. But sooooo lonely :( No stickers yet!
