Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.

On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Gee what do you have to do-rebreak it so it is a fresh break for the dr to help it :O

There's not much that can be done about it unfortunately. I had my yearly ct scans yesterday and went to relax at the mall afterward. I won't find out results until I see the doctor October 5th since it takes 7 to 10 days for results. My asthma is acting up.

Told you not to run that 50 mile marathon :p

My doctor's office called to tell me that I'm still cancer free! I am still going to keep the October 5th appointment to go over the scan in case to see if it showed anything else. I still don't know what's causing my stomach issues.

I know a lady that for years couldn't eat anything much past mashed potatoes then they finally -years past-found that she had some stomach issue and was able to help her..I"m sorry I can't recall what she had..but an example to hang in there and keep on them to investigate and find the germ bothering you and torture it!

I think it's more because a piece of my colon was cut out and the remaining pieces sewed back together. I've been sick with a cold/flu(?) since Friday. It started with a sore throat and has progressed to chest congestion, asthma worse, headache, slight cough, and hoarseness. I also still have the sore throat.

I find taking cough medicine when you start with a sore throat helps-good luck

The throat lozenges helped and I usually just have cough drops if I cough a lot. I think the flu/cold is gone but my sinuses have been bothering me as usual. I wish I didn't have to wait until November 22nd to see the rheumatologist for the fist time. Thanks for the suggestion annette.*hugs*

Feel better-and if they can't work you in sooner threaten to cough on them over the phone :P

There are only three rheumatologists here. One isn't taking new patients so I doubt I would be able to get in sooner. I will try to see the family doctor about my toe and ankle if they don't feel better by the end of this month.

Maybe you should make an appt now with your family dr and can always cancell if you're better

My family doctor can't help with Sjogren's testing. I have to see the rheumatologist for that. They don't help with the sinus issues either since my issues are dryness and inflammation. In regards to my stomach no doctor has helped me much with that. My hyperparathyroidism has a lot to do with it. I see my endocrinologist on November 1st. My arm is sore from the flu shot and muscles are sore.

I know the feeling of seeing every type of dr in existence

Wednesday, I started getting chest congestion, tightness, soreness and some coughing. It's only gone downhill from there. Yesterday morning and this morning my peak flow has been lower than it's been all year. I've been following my asthma action plan and hope I won't end up in the ER. The doctor filling in for my family doctor isn't available next week so I have to see the Nurse Practitioner Wednesday if I'm not better. She's usually not much help.
