On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Yes it was. I never heard from the GI's office. I called and she said she would call me. He must have triaged me as low priority so I won't get in to see him until December or January! I received no response to the email I sent the GI surgeon. Our trip is in 7 days. I'll just have to deal with things on my own. I haven't had blood again but I still have issues and asthma has been acting up.

JUst don't tell your body you're leaving on your trip-maybe it won't notice and bother you :)

We had an amazing trip! My asthma acted up some while in Vancouver due to the California wildfires but the smoke cleared up. My stomach acted up often as well in Vancouver and especially in Edmonton. No call from my GI's office while we were gone so it's most likely I will be waiting until December or January for an appointment. My stomach has been even worse since we came back.

My stomach still acted up on our trip unfortunately. I think I have a cold because my asthma has been so much worse lately!

I went to the ER on Thursday. I was given a breathing treatment and 50mg of prednisone. I take my last prednisone on Monday. My asthma was a little bad yesterday when I was at the mall to get a bus pass and see a movie but not as bad as it was today. I was dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. I took my prednisone and more alvesco. I will have to follow my asthma plan more. I'm worried that once I take my last prednisone on Monday my asthma will be out of control again. My family doctor is booked up so I will have to go to the clinic or ER.

I'm feeling worse but my doctor's office won't help. They said diminished air flow in lower lobes of my lungs but no wheezing and 02 sats are good. I hardly ever wheeze and they should know that! Their thermometer was broken so they couldn't check my temperature. My temperature is rising. The Nurse Practitioner said to keep doing what I'm doing with my inhalers even though it's not helping. No prednisoine or antibiotics. My fever is rising. I'll go to the ER again before going back there! I feel awful with sore chest, sore back, tight chest/congestion, shortness of breath, and some coughing.

I'm sorry your dr is treating you so-been there done that..hope you can find some help somewhere
