I wish the flood waters would recede! I feel so bad those in the flood zones. The traffic has been awful because of so many streets are blocked off. My stomach has been awful lately!

stress can cause lots of tummy issues

Stress doesn't affect my stomach and I'm not overly stressed. My stomach acts up no matter how I feel emotionally. My asthma has been acting up because I think I have my boyfriend's cold.

didn't you tell your boyfriend NOT to share everything :P

*lol* When he gets a cold I always get it too because we live in such close proximity to one another. My asthma has been really bad and so have my sinuses. I have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday. Monday is a holiday here.

My pulmonologist put on atrovent 3 times a day so that I can go back to my regular doses of symbicort and alvesco. Atrovent seems to help more. I did have another flare due to breathing in smoke at the mall food court last Saturday but I'm doing better. Stomach has been acting up more. I see my family doctor finally on July 26th to discuss the thyroid ultrasound results for the thyroid ultrasound I had in June.

My father and my husband both smoked but it didn't bother me like just walking thru someones smoking outside of a business

My mother and relatives smoked around me. It always bothered me. I avoid people smoking outside especially vaping because it bothers me. I take the bus and smoke on people's clothes, skin and hair bothers my asthma as well.

I've been having a really hard week. Monday night I had horrible abdominal pain, cramping, sweating, chills, nausea, a fever and rectal bleeding. I went to the ER because those symptoms are exactly like when I had ischemic colitis at the end of 2015. My white blood cell count was up. The CT scan showed there had been past inflammation. The ER doctor said that he would send my report to the GI I had seen in the past.

We're going on a trip from August 20th to August 31st. I want to be feeling better by then. I was on fluids at the hospital. Had something for pain once and anti-nausea. The ER doctor said liquid diet until I feel better. I tried some solid food yesterday afternoon which made my stomach start cramping and I bloated like I was pregnant so I went back to liquids.

I called the GI's office today to ask if my referral had run out. Apparently referrals run out after 6 months not a year. If the GI triages me as urgent I will be seen right away. If not then his receptionist said they are booking into December. :( I want to be able to eat and to enjoy our trip!
