All your ailments can come here Community Group
Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.

On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Unfortunately, there is not much help to be found here. Even the ER is hit and miss. My asthma has been much better but my sinuses are acting up. Also my stomach was hellish last night and I'm still cramping, nauseous and in pain today.

A vacuum cleaner might help those sinuses-just kidding.

I wish that I didn't have to wait until November 21st to see the GI!
annettearizona
Good grief-you sure you don't want to go visit someone in USA and see a dr there sooner!

No because I wouldn't have any insurance so it would be even harder. The only good thing about our system is not having to pay for most thing. For what's not covered we have insurance through my boyfriend's job. My asthma is acting up badly today.

I am sorry to hear about your insurance issues and how you're feeling-gentle hug and waving some more air your way

No worries we have great insurance through my boyfriend's work! It pays for vision, dental and prescriptions! Thank you! I went to the after hours clinic for my asthma and the doctor gave me a prescription for a week's worth of 50 of prednisone. He said to not take it and wait to see if I get better in a couple of days. If not then to fill it. I hope I won't have to fill it. I think it has 3 refills.

I'm on prednisone for a week. I went to see the doctor at the clinic and he gave me a prescription for a week's worth of 50mg with 3 refills. He said see if I feel better and if not then to take the prednisone. Yesterday, my peak flows stayed down and my chest was tight and sore so I started prednisone again.

Hey if it helps-take it-just hope it doesn't have any nasty side effects

I've been suffering with horrible kidney and bladder pain. I saw my family doctor yesterday. She had me do a urine specimen and said that it would take a couple of days or so the results to get back. The problem is that Monday is Thanksgiving here so it could be even longer. I had a kidneys ureters and bladder x-ray at the hospital but that report will take one to two weeks to get back. The kidney stone that was shown on the ct scan in July was small. My family doctor said it could be moving or become bigger. She gave me nothing for pain! Tylenol doesn't help and I can only take Advil fro two days because it makes my high blood pressure worse. It made me dizzy yesterday. This morning I'm in much more pain with my kidneys and bladder that I don't know if I can stand it! I may end up going to the ER.

ER was useless! The PA just prescribed a muscle relaxer. said the urine culture was negative and that it look like the kidney stone hadn't moved on the x-ray.

Oh goody-now there isn't an reason for all the bladder pain :( Drinks lots of fluids is the only thing I can think of and Happy pre thanksgiving

I hope fluids will help! I'm still in misery today! I still have the bladder pain and back pain. Thanks.

I'm feeling really upset and frustrated by my family doctor's office! The part time receptionist gave me an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow but my family doctor isn't going to be there. She's booked for two weeks! I can either go to the after hours clinic(can't do testing and may not be able to see my x-rays from last week) or the ER where I risk seeing the PA again who won't help! I guess I should just suffer!
