Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.
On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

A friend of mine just fell not long ago on ICE..she ended up at the ER and now is on physical therapy..so if you keep having problems from your fall your dr may be hearing from you whether they want to or not!

I'm sorry your friend fell on ice and ended up needing physical therapy!*hugs* I'm on the cancellation list for my family doctor's office but doubt I will get in since there aren't usually cancellations.

I went to the after hours clinic Thursday. I had x-rays of both knees to be safe due to my osteoporosis. I have to wait 7 yo 10 days for results. My knees are still really bad. I found out Thursday that my endocrinologist had passed away leaving behind 5 children. I feel so bad for her family! Also she was the only endocrinologist here so I won't be getting another parathyroid surgery anytime soon since my family doctor doesn't understand it and there probably won't be anyone to replace her.

Yes I do feel like running away! Knees still hurt and I'm still waiting for x-ray results because they mail them to the doctor even though the hospital is in the same city! They sort the mail in another city and then send it back. I was told to call back on Friday because they should have the results by then.

My knee x-rays were normal so I must have just bruised my knees really badly because they still hurt. Stomach acting up and I feel like I'm getting a cold. I have to walk to and from the grocery store to pick up a prescription and pick up a few items. I hope I won't fall again.

Do you have a cane or something like a stick to take as a precaution? CAn be used to beat off little old men too :)

I haven't gone out as much. My knees are starting to finally get better. Stomach has been acting up along with sinuses. Sore throat and hoarseness again. Daylight Savings Time has me more tired. We keep getting winter storms.

I would love if you could do that! I'm still suffering from the flu and need to walk to the pharmacy tomorrow to pick up prescriptions and groceries. My boyfriend still has the flu but has been doing much better.
