Since we usually have more thank one ailment or sometimes our ailment doesn't attract enough members to an forum thread-please feel free to post your open ailment discussions here.
On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

Yes it would! I hate chest pain on Monday like a squeezing. My mother had two heart attacks and died during a triple bypass surgery. She was diabetic and I was told her uncontrolled high blood sugar led to her heart attacks. My grandfather died of a heart attack in his sleep. I have a pronounced congenital heart murmur. She is referring me to an internist.

I'll try not to. My family doctor is the one who said my family history is another reason for me to see the internist. So far the referral has yet to be sent. I hope it will be sent soon. I wish my asthma would stop flaring. How are you?

I was at the ER yesterday for abdominal pain and rectal bleeding. ER doctor said gastroenteritis but I think ischemic colitis.

I'm glad you're doing well! Yes they do! I was really disappointed with the Internist yesterday because he seemed to have already decided not to take me seriously. He said the echocardiogram in 2010 was normal and showed my murmur is from my heart beating hard. I have a fast heart rate. He said my chest pain isn't related to my heart. He ordered a stress test for my peace of mind. I see him when the results are back. If the results are normal then I'm to have my family doctor investigate further. My stress test isn't until January 23rd! :( I've been waiting since August to see the endocrinologist who comes down once a month. At this rate I won't see him until next year!

Thanks Annette! Thank you but Thanksgiving was in October here. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I hope the GI's appointment today goes well and that he will give me a colonoscopy!

He doubled my dose of my main anti-spasmodic and wants me to start low dose aspiring(coated) next month for ischemia. I'm due next year for a colonoscopy regardless.

Thanks, I hope so too but I would really prefer a colonoscopy. So far they haven't helped much. I don't know if the aspirin will make a difference. I've been waiting since August to see the endocrinologist who comes down once a month. I think it will be sometime next year when I finally get to see him!

My asthma has been awful since yesterday! Yesterday, plumbers were here replacing the shower head, bathtub faucet and spout. They had to solder pipes and I breathed in the fumes. My chest/ribs/back are really sore, I'm wheezing, really short of breath and my nose is congested. :(
