On the main forum sometimes members do a check in thread-so instead of coming here to find nothing new has been added-I will have this thread so we can atleast say"we were here" and we left our little foot prints or cane prints...just don't leave any cat or dog droppings please-might begin smelling up the place!

only problems with a suit of armor would be going out in the heat-trying to sit down-trying to use the bathroom :(
DarknessEmbraced
True those would be problems. I need a bubble!

there was a movie with john travolta called the boy in the plastic bubble-as a child my mother kept me so isolated I felt like that movie was how my life was going to be :(
DarknessEmbraced
I remember that movie. It was based on a true story. So sad that you felt that way growing up! *hugs* I need an allergen free zone.

antarctic?
DarknessEmbraced
No, too cold. I was on prednisone for 5 days for an asthma flare, had an anaphylactic reaction on Wednesday so was in the ER. and am now worse again without prednisone. I think it's another sinus infection and my allergies making my asthma so bad.

shall we try the vacuum cleaner on your snoze?
DarknessEmbraced
That wouldn't help because my sinuses are too swollen.
annettearizona
hmm how about some smelly flowers to make you sneeze them clear?I mean what are friends for
DarknessEmbraced
LOL
annettearizona
well if you sneeze it will clear out your sinuses :)
DarknessEmbraced
Unfortunately sneezing doesn't help clear out my sinuses. They swell too much for that.
annettearizona
ok get out the vacuum cleaner

Currently battling my third sinus infection this year. The infection is causing fluid in my left ear. I saw one of the doctors who is filling in for my family doctor while she's on maternity leave. She didn't want to prescribe augmentin because I had had it twice before. She prescribed a different antibiotic. When I went back to pick up my prescriptions I found out that the antibiotic she had prescribed would interact with one of my medications so I couldn't have it. She had talked to the Nurse Practitioner who said that doxycycline was fine for me even though I had told her it hadn't worked the last time. Also that it really bothered my stomach. They had to call the NP a second time, who prescribed augmentin again. The pharmacist said that it might not work as well. I hope it works. I wish I knew why I keep getting sinus infections! I don't think it's just my allergies. The sinus ct scan the ENT did was normal so I'm not sure what to do.
