  Today was especially hard for me for some reason...Well, part of the reason was I found out that my Ex husbands "special friend" is the assistant of one of his contractors...which means the old phone number of a person he was texting last march, April was her...I asked about the phone number back then , I was told it was his plumber. So he had been at least communicating with her for a while.I got very upset, I know we are divorced, but a rush of feelings overcame me and I was a mess. still am....

  We have been officially divorced since the end of October.  He has been living in the basement since last March.  It has a mini kitchen, full bath, laundry and bedroom.  So, we do see each other almost daily, we are still civil.  After 26 years I am heart broken that he no longer wanted to be married, and tells me he has no intentions of ever getting married again, and going out to the bars ..well he said he is too old for that scene (51) , but as I notice he does not come home fri, Sat...

  After 26 years, my divorce will be final this month on the 24th.  We have gone through a very "smooth" transition, he is in the basement, still, but we have worked out all the tough stuff.  Our 2 girls are adults and one still lives here (23yrs).  My hardest hing now is Me.  I have work friends...but I need to find " hang out" friends.  I know that some of my work friends can become Hang out friends, but at 51 I never thought I would be here.  My husband was my friend.   After 26 years, my husband told me he didn't want to be married anymore.
