  I am going out with a friend this evening. The friend is a female, we have known each other for a month now. Nothing physical happened between us. We were almost physical one time, and I stopped it, telling her I was still a wreck emotionally, and didn't want to be that guy. But we remained friends and we text and are kinda there for each other.   My stbxw picked up our daughter from my house yesterday, which is normal. I tell my daughter by, then I hear her voice, she was asking about mail that she was looking for. I haven't seen her or spoke other than text in awhile, for my own sake and sanity. The sound of her voice made every inch of my body feel like I was on fire.   So many emotions to deal with non stop, it's so brutal at times. I have made steps to not do certain things, like text her or look at her social media, but now a new set of anxieties and fears com. I accept I was the major reason our marriage failed, but I am so afraid I don't deserve or never will atleast get peace. I let so much of just normal life get in the way of being a good husband.
