  Hi everybody,Ok, today as I was entering my apartment building, the doorman wished me a "Happy Valentine's Day" Now, I know he only meant well, but what was he thinking? My husband Matthew passed away @2 1/2 years ago and was very friendly with all the doorman. Have they forgotten that he ever existed? Didn't it even occur to him that Valentine's Day might be difficult for me? Damn people just don't get it.Kim

  Hi everybody,It has been approximately 13 1/2 months since my husband, Matthew, passed away suddenly.  13 1/2 months and I find myself so damn angry. I mean ANGRY!  I'm angry at everybody - my doorman who smiles and asks me "how are you?" the 30 something mothers and their babies in Whole Foods, the couples in Starbucks, my superivsor who just got married, my young colleagues who leave work on a Friday before a three day weekend with the knowledge that they will be with their spouses ..I hate...

  Hi all, It's now been three months since my husband and soulmate Matthew passed away. The grief is getting worse, no doubt about it. I'm now obsessing about whether I made him happy and blaming myself for suffering from depression throughout our marriage and sometimes not being fun to be around.  I know he loved him with all his heart, but I am so angry at myself for allowing my depression to keep me from always wanting to go out to dinner or to do other things that he wanted me to do.
