  I became extremely depressed 1-1/2 years ago when my son moved out. It was very sudden for me. It's not that he wasn't old enough, etc. but he had never talked about it and he and his father did not tell me of his plans. It was supposedly so that he could tell me all of his plans--where he was going to live, with whom, how he would support himself since he was still in college but instead of hearing it from him I got it in an email because of a credit check. I still have issues when...

  Hi everyone.    I have not been here for awhile.    I moved over to the empty nest group.     My son moved out of our home now a liittle over 2 years ago.     We began seeing him more, had a regular night to go out to dinner, he came to our church, and spent time wtih us on Sunday afternoon.    He also came back to work in my office.    An improvement.    However, over the last 2-3 weeks he just began avoiding me, wouldn't even speak, would leave the room when I walked...

  Hi folks.   I hve not been  here in a while even though I can't say things have been great with my son.     He moved out two years ago, didn't contact us much but then I somewhat felt things were better -- we went out to dinner once a week and he came to our church and spent time with us on Sunday afternoons.     He got involved with a young lady 19 months ago but dropped her b/c of emotional problems and also the fact that she told him she didn't trust him, etc.     She is back...
