I have been off this site for many months and came back to this....this is just horrible.....uggggggg
ONCE A MOTHER HAD A SON\\
THAT SHE WAS SO PROUD OF
SHE LOVED HIM LIKE NO OTHER
AND GAVE HER LIFE FOR HIM
SHE TAUGHT HIM EVERYTHING SHE KNEW
AND LOVED HIM OH SO TRUE
THE YEARS WENT BY SO FAST
IN A BLINK OF AN EYE HE WAS A MAN
NOW THERE WAS NO TIME FOR MOTHER
WHO HAD LOVED HIM LIKE NO OTHER
A NEW WOMAN CAME INTO HIS LIFE
AND HE FORGOT THE ONE WHO GAVE HIM LIFE
HE WAS SO AWFULLY BUSY NOW
RUNNING HERE AND THERE
THAT HE BARELY GAVE A THOUGHT
TO THE ONE , ONCE SO DEAR
THE MOTHER SAT ALONE EACH DAY
AND CRIED AND CRIED AND CRIED
WHY HAS MY SON ABANDONED ME
WHEN FOR HIM , I WOULD HAVE DIED…..
I wanted to come back to Daily Strength and see if it is any better than we left. Will check in once in a while.
