  As I understand it, RSOL's (the leading advocacy group in the country for registrants) official position is that they would like to do away with the public registry. As far as I know, they are okay with a private registry available only to law enforcement. I guess they see this as a compromise. Do most people agree with that position? Do you or don't think they should revise it? I, for one, think they should. Convictions are public records which would appear in any police database. If the...
