  Hi all, I'm just wondering how many others here (whether bedwetters yourselves, or parents of bedwetters) choose to manage your bedwetting (or your child's bedwetting) without using diapers, pull-ups, or other forms of absorbent underwear? At times it seems like most of the discussion in groups like this revolves around diapers, but I really haven't used them very much (either as a child or now as an adult) and I believe I have been able to manage my bedwetting just fine without them.   How long have you guys dealt with the problem -- through your whole childhood and adult life, or have you had some "dry" years in between? Has your frequency of wetting increased or decreased over the years, and if so, what do you think caused the change(s)? I grew up wetting the bed every night until I was about 12, and after that it reduced dramatically pretty quickly, but I still had a few odd accidents a year throughout my teen years -- usually when I was really over-tired or had a lot to...

  Why is it that one night I can have a lot to drink at night, be really tired and yet manage to wake up in plenty of time to empty my bladder like nothing is wrong... and another night, I can drink nothing, feel perfectly well rested, and sleep right through it? I mean, that isn't the norm, I normally do much better when I'm well rested and worst when I'm really tired and stressed... but it's just so unpredictable, you know? Anybody else experience this?   To carry on from timetested's question (which I still hope others will answer!) - just wondering how many of us here do, or don't, think that doctors have a significant role to play in managing and/or treating adult bedwetting. Personally, I saw so many doctors and was put through so many tests as a teenager, without success, that as an adult now I am pessimistic whether going back to the medical profession with this issue would produce any different results... to the point that it's been...

  Hey all, I'm a lifelong runner and just discovered that DS had a running group... which i think is awesome... is anyone still here though? I've run everything up to marathons in the past (about 10 years ago now) and have fallen somewhat out of shape but would love to get back. If anyone's here, give me a shout! :)adam

  Hi all, This group has been going for awhile now! A lot of us kind of know each other already, but a lot of new people have joined who may not be aware of who is here or what kinds of issues we deal with. So, I thought it might be helpful if we all take a couple minutes and answer a few basic questions about who we are and why we're here... so that everyone in the group can see how many different people deal with this problem.
