I have been depressed since I was 3. Abuse of every sort seems to be the cause of it. I also have a whooping case of PTSD from experiences of my childhood and an abusive marriage. Starting in my teens I started having pain in my back, shoulders, hips and legs. All of which I attributed to my constant activity. 2 years ago I found out that it wasn\'t the activity, it was Ankylosing Spondylitis which has been progressing untreated for many many years. My son is an addict and a sociopath. My brother, father, and paternal grandmother sociopaths also. Sooooo, life has not been exactly idyllic .Despite that, I have been successful professionally and can usually I have had enough therapy to know a lot of the answers however doing it is sometimes insurmountable for me. Chronic pain wears me down

Hello,I joined this group because I suspect my son is a sociopath. He is also a drug addict (Heroin and Meth) and I'm told its hard to differentiate between the two. He meets all but one of the DSM criteria of a sociopath though.I have been dealing with his behavior since he was about 13 and am worn out! I now have an auto-immune disease and his behavior is only making it worse because of the stress. He makes veiled threats from time to time of hurting me or my partner. That really scares me....
