I am 28 and trying to keep it all together. I feel like a nurse, running around with a box of band-aids. I need to learn to take care of myself first, my fiancee says I worry about everything way too much, but it\'s how I am. I can\'t turn a blind eye to the suffering of people I care for. I have tried, and I get ill just thinking about all the bad things that could be happening without me there to keep watch! My life could be turned into a soap opera. I have those who stick with me through thick and thin and those who only come about during thin. I have a beautiful 5 year old daughter who I would do anything for. My life is no longer about me. My spouse and I are over coming our own rough patches without me having to deal with everyone else\'s!

My SO and I have been together 15 years. After many failed attempts (not our fault) we finally got married in August 2021. He was acting odd for months leading up to the wedding but I thought it was nerves. I used to post on this site daily. And it had helped me get through SO much. Then my life took off in what I felt was a good direction! I felt happier then I had in a long time. Then something happened.I was assaulted physically, mentally and sexually as a young child. And when I was 16 a boy attempted to do whatever he pleased with me at a party after I had consumed way to much alcohol.My soon to be husband (together 15 years, getting married hopefully in August) knows about the first but not...

We have one child, an 8 year old daughter. She is no picnic, but she is smart, independent, funny, and a whole barrel of other things. She and her dad have a great relationship. They do so much together and they get along great. When I was pregnant with her my SO and I discussed the amount of children we wanted. I was up for two. My mother and I are close.My brother and I are close.My brother and mother do not get along but my brother has developed mommy issues I don't understand (but I am not him so I can't really tell him how to feel based on only what I know) and he has stopped talking to our mother but has not told her why. Our mother has in turn stopped reaching out to him. But they both complain about the other to me and I don't think it's my place to tell my mom what my brother is struggling with or to tell...
