  Happy Saturday Everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. I started therapy this week and it was great! I really hit it off with my new therapist! We really clicked, which is amazing! Our first session was 90 mins and I walked away feeling hopeful. At the end of our time she gave me her general diagnosis of me. Generalized Anxiety Disorder ( no surprise there!) had that most of my life! Lol Also with depression, again no surprise there either. But, she also diagnosed me with PTSD due to the...

  I recently just started dating a new man. He's great and I really like him! Today, I had to let him know that I would like to spend more time together ( he's been super busy w/family that just moved to our state) and we havent had any time together in like 3 weeks, and I miss him. We still text/talk daily but, I need a little more than that. Why is asking for our needs to get met SO scary?! I've been anxious all day awaiting a response from him....

  I was awoken last night to a full blown panic attack! First one I've had in several years. At least a bad one. Felt like I couldn't breathe and I just felt that intense feeling of fear in my stomach. I was able to self soothe and calm myself down. July has been a rough month for my anxiety. Been anxious more then I've had peace. All the changes in the last 6 months have been insane.
